PESA operates the bus connection between Bilbao and San Sebastian.
La Union operates the routes from Vitoria, Pamplona and Logroño.
A network of motorways and highways converges on Bilbao. The city can be reached by the A8, which is connected to Donostia-San Sebastian and the French border at Irun, and by the A68, which connects with Barcelona and the A7 along the Mediterranean coast. Bilbao is connected to Burgos by the A68 and to Valladolid by the Autovía de Castilla (Castile Freeway). From there the Autovia del Norte (Northern Freeway) leads to Madrid. Bilbao is connected to Santander by the Autovía del Cantábrico (Cantabrian Freeway).

Our airport shuttle operates between 6am to 12pm every day and brings you to the hotel in two minutes.
Bilbao has three railway stations, operated by three different companies: Abando Station, Concordia Station and Atxuri Station, and which can be found alongside the scenic river, in the city's El Ensanche district.
Bilbao's main RENFE train station is known locally as the Abando Station and is located on the Plaza Circular. Long and short distance trains travel from this station to a number of notable Spanish cities including Madrid (just over 6 hours), Barcelona (9 hours), Burgos (3 hours) and Valladolid (4r hours), Alicante and Málaga. Located on the other side of the river, the Atxuri train station can be found to the southeast of Old Quarter of Bilbao (Casco Viejo). Opened in 1997, the Bilbao Metro train network is one of the most modern, innovative and stylish underground transport systems in the world. The Bilbao Metro subway travels to the northern coastline, connecting a number of stations to the city's nearby beaches.
Bilbao's Metro trains also travel into the city centre and bus station. Metro Bilbao has two metro lines. Line 1 (Etxebarri-Plentzia) links Bilbao stations to the right-bank districts. Line 2 (Etxebarri-Santurtzi) links Bilbao stations to the left-bank districts.
