Night + Day festival: 6th – 11th July
The festival that is curated by the The XX band, will gather a week of live music, film screenings, DJ after parties, all set outside the Guggenheim Museum.

Bilbao BBK Live: 12th – 14th July
Bilbao's main musical event is taking place between 12 to 14th of July. The Chemical Brothers, Gorillaz, Noel Gallagher, Florence + The Machine, My Bloody Valentine are just some of the leading names to take up the stage, while the festival is expecting over 100,000 people.

Getxo Jazz Festival: 4th – 8th July
The jazz music scene will have its own great event this summer during Getxo Jazz Festival, to be held at the beginning of July across 5 days. The 42nd edition of the festival promises some of the greatest international contemporary jazz artists - Charenée Wade, Kenny Garrett, Billy Hart Quintet featuring Joshua Redman, Chano Domínguez and Michel Camilo & Tomatito amongst others. Getxo & Blues: 19th – 21st July
Getxo Jazz' counterpart festival – the international Getxo Blues Festival is to unfold its scene this year, from the 19th of July through to the 21st for its Bilbao fans. Music will include concerts by Davina and the Vagabonds, Maceo Parker and Eric Sardinas.

Txapel Reggae: 14th July
Reggae music will have its own memorable moment on July, the 14th during one night of summery festival, to take place a stone's throw away from Bilbao, in the fishing port of Armintza. Three stages will fill the spot with great reggae vibes throughout the day, with Queen Omega and The next Generation Family Band, Awa Fall and The Sound Rebels, Ines Pardo and Lone Ark Riddim Force being some of the names performing.

Bilboko Kalealdia 2018: 2nd – 7th July
Both children and adults are invited to Bilboko Kalealdia 2018, for a 5 day long festival organized by the City Council to bring cultural vibes in the city and make the summer even more enjoyable.
Expect to have loads of fun while dancing along musical shows, watching the circus, enjoying theatre plays with over 60 representations from 26 different companies.
Spread around the city center, you'll be taken up by surprise with performances at every corner.

The International Folklore Festival: 22nd – 31st July
Set back in the 1980's this festival has been going on an yearly basis ever since. Bringing traditional dances from around the world to the stage, this cultural festival is for everyone enjoying world cultures and diversity or eager to discover it.

Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve is the setting for this unique festival, where music and food will be at the forefront, in a sustainable way and in harmony with the landscape and nature. Chagall. The Breakthrough Years, 1911-1919: June – 2nd September

Summer Workshops: throughout July
Children will have interactive and creative workshops to attend this July. Museum Guggenheim is organising a series of educational yet creative, themed workshops where the attendants will have to get to know and use different materials for the purpose of creating various types of sculptures.
2 – 6 July: Mythological Creatures
9 – 13 July: Telling Stories
16 – 20 July: Unusual materials
These workshops are suited for children 3 to 11 years old.
