Bilbao Menditrail

Date: 5th May

Venue: Starting point is in Miribilla.

The Bilbao Menditrail is an annual mountain race which starts in Miribilla and finishes in Bilbao city centre. With different race lengths on offer, this mountain race can suit all sorts of people with even a family race option. If you fancy pushing yourself and doing the main race or you want to complete a less physically demanding race, then join the Bilbao Menditrail race this May!

Boat ride down the Ria de Bilbao

Date: Available all year round

Venue: Pio Baroja Plaza, 48001 Bilbao, Spain. Departures leave from the Bilboats’ flag sign.

Arts week – Bilbao Art District

Date: 2nd-12th May

Venue: To be confirmed (will be taking place on many different streets across Bilbao)

The Bilbao Arts week will be on in the beginning of May, spanning for over ten days. The Bilbao art district is a project, endorsed by the Bilbao city council which will promote Bilbao’s contemporary art and its creativity. You can expect to see many independent artists showcasing their work at their stands. Why not walk the streets of Bilbao while viewing its impressive art at the Bilbao Art District.

Bilbao Fantasy Film Festival (FANT)

Children’s workshops – Giorgio Morandi at the Guggenheim Museum

Venue: Guggenheim Museum, Education Rooms
